Pasta with garlic, shrimp, & olive oil
I made this for lunch! It's a simple pasta dish with sauteed garlic and shrimp and tossed in olive oil. The wife loved it. I would've grated some cheese on top and added some chopped parsley and olives if I'd had any. Alas, I didn't. I did add some red pepper flakes at the wife's urging, in addition to some salt and pepper.
In any case, it was perfect the way it was, with just the right amount of salt and the pasta was somewhat al dente--I don't think it was perfectly so, but it wasn't bad. The shrimp came frozen from Ikea and is always good to have in the freezer. The wine was a semi-sweet one from Long Island, NY. I usually don't drink during lunch, but hey, I'm off work this week so, kompai!
