The snow last Friday night into Saturday morning was nothing to write home about--a mere 2 inches--but it was a nice addition to the bitterly frigid temperatures (about 26°F highs & 17°F lows) that we'd been having for a few days. The snow stuck to the pavement very quickly and covered everything in white in less than the time I took to buy a few grocery items. It was exciting. I've always hated freezing temperatures without snow; I think it's one of nature's miserable phenomena. Snow just compensates for the cold and makes winter fun.
