Had a nice weekend overall. Saturday in particular was relaxing, enjoyable, and spent partly outdoors in the sunny, 85-degree weather. The gf and I couldn't decide on whether to have all-you-can-eat sushi in the Upper East Side or to stay in Brooklyn for a cheaper lunch special, where we expected the lack in quantity to be made up for in quality. The place was Taro Sushi at its new location on Flatbush Avenue at the northern edge of Park Slope. Happy to say we weren't disappointed.
We don't eat out much these days. Busy, no time, funds are low. So it's nice to actually enjoy the place and the food when you do spend time and money outside. Decided to start a running list of my own cheap quality eats around the city. Taro Sushi is number 1 on the list right now.
